Why not make a difference today and buy a charity album?

September 9, 2011

A few months back, the students of Dublin’s Sound Training Centre (where I got my Diplomas in Sound Engineering & Music Tech) have released a charity album called “Silver Lining”. The album is in support of the charity Headstrong, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health in Ireland. The compilation features covers of 1986 music hits and are performed by some of the most popular acts in Ireland.

I personally adore James Vincent McMorrow‘s rendition of “Higher Love” (by Steve Winwood), The Heathers‘ version of True Colors (Cindy Lauper), and The Chapters with Hip to be Square (Huey Lewis).

Here is James Vincent McMorrow’s cover:

All “Silver Lining” proceeds are going to Headstrong, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

Go ahead and make a difference. Buy it!
